Our Guiding Light

Late Dr. Bahuleyan – the most revered Ayurvedic healer of his times, has been a guiding light and torch bearer of dharma family’s centuries old unique and radical approach in Ayurvedic healing.

In his unparalleled healing career spanning over 50 years, Dr. Bahuleyan has guided and nurtured hundreds of ayurvedic doctors who have dedicated their lives to the authentic practise of the sacred healing art of Ayurveda.

In 1965, Dr. Bahuleyan established Dharma Ayurveda in Trivandrum at Ayirooppara.

The famous Ayurvedic helaler in Kerala, India, served as Specialist Consultant, Government of Kerala and Senior Medical Officer at Government Ayurveda College Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.

He was a Director of Santhigiri Ashram and was also Advisory Director to Santhigiri Group of Ayurveda Hospitals in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.

He was a Patron of Indian Red cross Society, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. At Maruthuamalai, he built the Dharma Ashram offering free treatment for the poor people who came from remote villages.

Dharma Ayurveda has expanded now with operations in India and abroad. Our founder Chairman was this humble, kind, great ayurveda doctor in Kerala, India. In our hearts he remain so posthumus.
